Frequently asked questions
What are the game modes?
Classic gives you 60 seconds and bonus time for combos. Survival gives you 3 lives and a clock that shrinks as you improve. Daily Challenge is the same puzzle set for everyone in your age group each day, with a streak. Practice has no timer, so you can drill a times table.
Can I choose which operations I practice?
Yes. Tap + − × ÷ on the home screen to turn each one on or off. At least one stays on.
Why did FastMath ask for my birth year?
To pick the right puzzles and settings. We only keep your age group (under 13, 13–17, 18+) and never store the year itself. Players under 13 see no ads and Game Center is off. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I change the age group?
Open Settings (the gear on the home screen) › Change age group. On a child's profile a grown-up has to answer a quick question first.
What does Premium include? How do I restore it?
Premium unlocks every theme and the "review your mistakes" screen, and removes ads. "Remove Ads" removes ads only. Both are one-time purchases. To restore them on a new device, open Settings › Restore purchases while signed in with the Apple ID you bought them with.
Where is my progress stored?
On your device only. If you delete the app, or reset progress in Settings, it is erased. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can always be restored.
Leaderboards and achievements aren't showing
They need Game Center (players 13 and over). Sign in to Game Center in the iOS Settings app, then reopen FastMath and tap Ranks.
