Frequently asked questions
I deleted photos but my free storage didn't change
Deleted items move to Photos › Albums › Recently Deleted, where iOS keeps them for 30 days in case you change your mind. To free the space now, open that album and delete them there.
Does Purgee upload my photos?
No. All analysis happens on your iPhone, and nothing is uploaded. See the Privacy Policy.
Why can Purgee only see some of my photos?
You gave it access to selected photos only. Tap Select More Photos in Purgee, or change it in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos › Purgee.
How many photos can I delete for free?
10 a day, resetting at midnight. You can watch a short video for 10 more, up to 3 times a day. Scanning and reviewing are always free. Purgee Pro removes the limit and the ads.
How do I restore Purgee Pro on a new device?
Open Purgee › Settings › Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Purgee › Settings › Manage Subscription, or iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Why is a photo marked "possibly blurry" when it looks fine?
Blur detection is a guess based on sharpness, not a fact. Purgee only suggests — you decide. You can make it stricter or more relaxed in Settings.
